Announcing a new meeting for The Capital District Gourmet Meetup!

Why: If you are a mushroom lover, you will love learning new recipes and cooking tips for preparing these exotic mushrooms.

Meeting Description: If you picture a plastic wrapped box of white buttons when I say the word mushrooms, you're in for a treat!

We'll meet at the venerable Troy Farmers Market and talk with Gary Wiltbank, of Wiltbank Farm in Saugerties, NY. Gary grows beautiful oyster & shitake mushrooms, and will share cooking tips and recipes he has gathered from his favorite customers.

After our mushroom discussion is over, grab a friend and peruse the rest of the market, other vendors include LOCAL producers of -
