This group was started to combine two passions. The love of cooking at home and meeting new people. In hopes of bringing the two together, these Meet n Eat get togethers are held in an intimate San Francisco apartment. Get Motivated, Get Fit, Eat Well, and Lose Weight. Come and enjoy a moderate intensity walking workout and leave with a healthy recipe. We meet on Saturday mornings for one hour. The workout is mostly walking with brief periods of jumping jacks, squats, lunges and the like. There will be a personal trainer administering the walking workouts and chef handing out recipes. If you have a healthy recipe that you would like to share, feel free to bring it along.

I'm hoping to meet some folks who want to cook vegan meals together or bring dishes to potlucks/picnics/hikes and share ideas. We can go to each other's houses, organize cooking classes, meet at Good Earth to learn about ingredients (next on my list is Miso and Nutritional Yeast)... You don't have to be vegan - just interested in cooking and eating that way when you meet up with us!
